Billing & Insurance
General
The Cross Counseling accepts all major credit and debit cards as well as HSA, and FSA forms of payment. Client payments are stored within your secured client portal and processed within 3-5 business days after each session. There is a 2.95% transaction fee on every credit card transaction. To avoid these transaction fees clients are encouraged to pay via cash or check.
Clients will need to contact their insurance provider to answer this question as each provider is different. I am happy to provide a monthly statement for you to pass along to your insurance provide for proof of services.
Out-of-Network Insurance Reimbursement: Our practice currently operates on an out-of-network basis. This means that you will be responsible for paying the session fee upfront. However, you may be eligible for reimbursement from your insurance company. Here’s how it works:
1. Payment: You pay the full session fee at the time of your appointment.
2. Claim Submission: I will provide you with a detailed invoice (superbill) which you can submit to your insurance company.
3. Reimbursement: Your insurance company will review the claim and reimburse you according to your policy’s out-of-network benefits.
