Whatever is True

In Philippians 4:8 Paul urges believers to set their minds on “whatever is true.” So much of the therapeutic process mirrors this biblical invitation. Scripture calls us to take every thought captive and make it obedient to Christ, and one of the primary ways we do that is by learning to honestly discern what is true.

In therapy, “truth” isn’t just the positive or the encouraging—it’s the whole picture. It’s the distorted thoughts we’ve believed for too long, the emotions that feel overwhelming or unreasonable, and the difficult realities we’d rather avoid. Ignoring these things doesn’t make them disappear; it simply gives them more power.

This space is dedicated to acknowledging what is true—the good, the hard, and the deeply human—while continually lifting our eyes to what is ultimately True: the character, presence, and promises of God. My hope is that these reflections help you navigate both your inner world and your walk with Christ with greater clarity, courage, and hope.

JORDI CROSS

As a therapist, I believe in offering a fresh approach to therapy—an approach that feels less clinical and more restorative. Together, we move beyond merely managing symptoms and into realistic and sustainable change.
